Ahide Adum aka “The Bassman”, “Tha Base” Ahide started
out in music in 1990 in Jos as the baritone singer for Panam Percy Paul
and the First Love Band. He went on to record three gospel albums
including the widely acclaimed ” Luneka ak Wahtum” a Gambian release in
2002. A masterful vocalist and songwriter, his style is often a blend
of mid-tempo Afro-soul, reggae and something he likes to call
“contemporary traditional” sounds.
