Firstly note, spirituality does not condole laziness!
All Nigeria needs is a divine idea. Divine idea is a God-given legal tender. It cannot be negotiated.
The introductory session of the message gives you a fore knowledge of all it takes to know that divine idea.
We will also probe into three (3) Biblical stories and we gonna draw inspirations, lessons and patterns on how to live above this mundane economy. Believe me, all it takes to prevail is by you seeing what God is saying.
God said, “for every human lack, there is a divine idea”.
In Proverbs 29:18 (NIV) says, “Where there is no revelation, people cast off restraint; but blessed is the one who heeds wisdom’s instruction”.
Hosea 4:6 (NIV) says, “My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also reject you as my priests; because you have ignored the law of your God”.
Get this right, a man cannot live below is ignorance neither can he live above his understanding.
The problem might not really be the problem! Our understanding is our challenge. Our ignorance is the issue. A man does not cast off restraint neither is he swept off his feet because of the challenges confronting him, he perished from lack of knowledge. Our understanding of God’s word spells the extent at which we know God and that determines our pace in life, both physically and spiritually, (John1:1).
Psalm 1:1-3 (NIV), Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers,
but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night.
That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers.
When a man walks in the ways of the scornful, it implies he cannot see beyond his situation. He is restricted to seeing like the unbelievers.
Except if a man delights and meditates on God’s word, he will not see the abundance in the midst of lack. Verse 3 concludes that such a man is prosperous in anything they do. Their leaves are evergreen; they flourish no matter what. All these are results of knowing God through his word.
A word is enough to war! All you need know is what God is saying.
Mark 11:23 (NIV), Truly I tell you, if anyone says to *this* mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them.
“Many times, we do not get what we need because we do not want them”, I said.
The word “this” shows God knows what you are going through, but you must pray, believing that God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him. “Only a charged man will take charge”, I said. You must see differently. Vision is the strength of faith and our level is of understanding determines how well we see. Jot this, “the wider your vision, the stronger your faith”.
(Proverbs 30:5) Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.
In every situation you find ourselves, there is a revelation God is giving you. In trauma, God is sending a rhema. In hardship, God is speaking of ease.
Remember, “the greatest limitation of man is not his weakness, but his perception”. How do you perceive things? What’s your perspective?
Divine idea is a God-given legal tender that doesn’t negotiate with the economy of this world and every divine idea is inside a divine instruction; wisdom’s instruction; God’s wisdom/word; that is, Jesus Christ. You cannot know God outside Christ. That’s impossible!
(1 Kings 17:1-5) tells of the story of Elijah, he shut the heaven, but do you know the heaven wasn’t shut over him? Verse 2 says, “And the word of the LORD came unto him”. Note that, if a believer will not perish with his challenges, he must learn to *hear God*. Had it been the man of God’s ears were shut, he wouldn’t have been able to survive the hard time. Verse 5 made us to know that Elijah did according unto the word of God. *Obedience is the key to unlocking the mysteries of divine idea incorporated in the divine instruction*. It may sounds foolish, but your obedience makes the sense out of it.
2 Kings 4:1-5 also shares of the story of a widower whose two sons wanted to be taken in place of the debts of their late father. The woman cried out unto the man of God and Elisha gave her a divine instruction which resulted into a divine idea through obedience. Believe it or not, we cannot overemphasized the need for obedience if truly you will be alleviated off your predicaments. It is called divine idea because it won’t go down well with human calculations. *Obedience is more or less a receipt of your faith to God’s word*. You have to make use of *your prophet* in difficult times. There are some breakthroughs you won’t experience except you involve your prophet; the man of God God has placed you under. Never commonize the grace upon a man of God! The woman, with her disposition, proved to know God, but she recognized the significant role of her prophet at that moment of her life.
Another tested, proved and confirmed way of breaking forth in difficult times is by thanksgiving.
(John 6:11) And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would.
There are mysteries in *giving thanks*, even prior to the doings of God. When thanks is given to God in advance, you make God not to recompense you in arrears.
In conclusion, those challenges cannot lord it over you based on your level of understanding. Your understanding of God’s word flames your faith. So, our faith is obliged to our understanding. A man once wrote, “out tears often blur our sight in difficult situation and prevent us from seeing clearly what God has in stock for us in such situation”.
Where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint; but one who keeps the law is blessed,
(Proverbs 29:18, AMP). The law is simply the word of God. The same Bible says, “… my people perish from lack of knowledge”. Apparently, our circumstances or challenges don’t have the final say over our lives, but our understanding determines if it will or not. That’s why it didn’t say they perish from their tribulations or issues or crises, it is from lack of knowledge of who they are in Christ Jesus.
(1 Corinthians 2:12) Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
(Ephesians 1:18) The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints.
Can you see that? So, it takes a man walking with the eyes of understanding to see beyond the physical.
I wondered why the Bible calls it “the *eyes* of understanding” and the Holy Spirit ministered to me saying, “when God speaks, a man is expected to see and for a man to see the realm divine, his spiritual eyes are his enabling force. So, the brighter he sees is a function of his eyes of understanding of who God is and who he is in Christ Jesus”.
(Proverbs 4:23-25) Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee.
Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee.
Here, we are being cautioned as regards the handling of our heart for it is the source through which everything about us flows from. When you perceive success, you definitely see greatness. The Bible admonishes us not to worry, but look beyond the situation and gaze ahead.
Beloved, in the midst of the crisis, what are you seeing, saying and doing?
What you see is a result of what you imagined. Speak positive and act according to God’s word.
The fact that every problem has an expiry date licenses you not to expire with them. The ball is in your court. See your way through, declare your victory and act it into being. I say again, “act it out”! Spirituality is not a license for laziness.
Nigeria is blessed; You are great!
I welcome you into the month of POWER.
PRAYER
Father, help me to yearn for your Word and lighten my eyes of understanding in Jesus’ name. Pray in tongues.
CONFESSION
I begin to hear God. I therefore see my breakthrough, I declare my victory and I act according to the word of God.
Grace unto you!
